Yip that’s right BLOSS is leaving on a jet plane and I’ll be telling you all about my personal travel experiences and the wonderful and not so wonderful destinations I am lucky enough to experience.
Yep, I consider myself lucky even when my travels are a flop. All our travel experiences add pieces to our puzzle and shape us.
As a Pretoria girl, born and bred, having gone to the same school all my life, the same home, somewhere along the way I decided to embrace change and diversity and never looked back. I found peace at the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, was left in awe at the top of Corcovado in Rio, discovered the meaning of excitement floating on a raging monsoon river in Kanchanaburi and conquered my fears to find freedom at Elphinstone in the Red Sea. It has made me who I am today and I am sending an open invitation out there for everyone to do the same. Get out there with a curious mind, embrace change and travel. Ask yourself why you want to travel because the answer is different for each of us and it’s what we need to help plan our travels.
South Africans today become sorely aware of the weakness of the Rand the moment we take a step out of our borders and we often end up spending a small fortune to travel abroad or worse yet, we end up cancelling plans altogether. Well, guess what folks, we don’t have to fall into the trap of only experiencing the most commercial and often very expensive destinations. There are gems out there, some hidden and others not so hidden, and we can all help each other find them.
So that’s what I’m all about. I hope to share my experiences with you so that you can plan your perfect getaway; so you can experience and grow, make memories that last, create brand new ways to be happy and, most importantly, ignite your inner glow.
